K-4 is back at Buffalo Riverworks April 29th. This is a show you cannot miss. Pro fights, title fights, Woman fights. Keith Forant mixes real Muay Thai fights and mma on all the K-4 fights. He puts on a show like no other in the area. I am going to give you the breakdown of the card and the stories behind the fights.
I talked some last edition about the super heavyweight match up between Tyrique Ransom and Xavier Cartes. We can’t talk about the big guys and not talk about the K-4 Heavyweight MMA Title. Keith got the fight every promotor wanted the match up of two unbeatens Nat Kabba 4-0 (Synthesis BJJ) vs. Elshaddi Vanhoeson 4-0 (Clever Combat)
We had these guys on when I co-hosted all the Calls with Ben Field and man, they do not like each other. It was a very entertaining back and forth you can find on this page or the K-4 fight page make sure you check it out!!
Nat Kabba is coming off a title win in FCP where he edged out a judge’s decision. He gave up a lot of takedowns but always got to his feet. I was impressed he was able to fight off the kimura at the end of the first round and be able to come back and take over the fight. His kicking game is so impressive for a big man. The K-4 fans will fall in love quickly with him. His ability to fight out of both stances will help him against Elshaddi.
Elshaddai Vanhoeson comes down in weight to make 265. He is a full-sized heavyweight and has the swagger of one as well. He has power in both hands and a very aggressive style. He is as braggadocios as he is good. K-4 fans will love or hate him, but he will move the needle. His fights end quickly with the other guy face down.
How will Nat’s kicking style match with Elshaddai boxing? Will the cut hurt Elshaddai’s performance and explosiveness. The winner of this fight could determine who is the best heavyweight in the state. On any other card this fight would be the main event of the evening.
