Every month we name a champion of the month from each kid’s class at parent night.  The first kid named this month was Harper Knox.  Harper is a student from the first class, and she is an outstanding young lady.  She has also recently been promoted to junior instructor. 

    She excels in all aspects of mma.  Her kickboxing is very solid for ether class.  That she has such good hand discipline (keeping her hands up) at such a young age means she can be an amazing martial artist.  Her Jiu Jitsu is very solid as well.  Every class by the end she has the technique that we worked on learned and ready to use.  When she spars, she uses the techniques we worked in class rather then doing her own thing.  In wrestling she is constantly working to be first in everything we do. Races, ladders, drills she is always working the hardest. 

   With dedication that surpasses some adults and even fighters I know I am proud to say WNYMMA’s champion of the month for January was Harper Knox. Let’s see who works the hardest in February!
