Student if the month is an award, I like to reward the kids that work so hard in class and have a great attitude.  I hand them out at parent night so not only do the parents see how hard it is to do class, they are there to see their children rewarded for their hard work.

     The second classes champion of the month was Sophia Booth.  Sophia is an outstanding young woman.  She has been in our program for quite a long time now.  Not only does Sophie and her family ride their bikes to class everyday she out works 90 percent of the class once she was there. 

     Sophie is a skilled striker; her punches and elbows are some of the best we have ever seen in kids’ class.  Her wrestling is outstanding and watching her and her mom fight for takedowns on parent night is one of the best things about parent night.  Her Jiu Jitsu is good and ready for some tournaments, hopefully she jumps in and does one. 

     Sophie’s attitude in class is the best thing about her.  No matter what the challenge is she takes it on with a smile.  I love watching kids be able to believe in themselves.  She is a great role model for the rest of the girls to look up to.
